What is the Vote Out Poverty campaign? Sojourners’ Vote Out Poverty campaign is our advocacy effort to mobilize a faith-based constituency capable of influencing congressional and presidential priorities around domestic and global poverty, starting with the 2008 election, and culminating with our Mobilization to End Poverty from April 26-29. Through individual and candidate Vote Out Poverty pledges distributed by local action teams, we will bring awareness to this issue and hold our newly elected officials accountable for putting poverty reduction on the top of their agendas. How can my church get involved?

Fighting poverty is a nonpartisan issue and a bipartisan cause. The Vote Out Poverty campaign does not endorse candidates, but we are asking them to endorse our agenda.
